Confirm Your Identity

Asking you to provide a copy of your ID does not form part of our standard registration process should you have a credit or debit card registered to the home address you provide when signing up.

Security is one of our top priorities, which is why we insist you sign up with the same address registered with your card provider. In the event we cannot thoroughly verify the information you have given us upon registration or at a later stage - as our regulations require - we may ask you for documents to support the verification of both your address and identity. These can include but are not limited to a copy of your driver's license, passport, utility bill or credit/debit card information, either online or by post.

We need to make sure your identity has been verified appropriately to comply with the gaming regulations under the Gambling Act of 2005 and as part of our license. If we need to see this type of ID when you sign up or after you have reached more than £1,000 in deposits on your Vernons account, we will inform you in writing, usually via email and in some cases by post.

As we are required to carry out these checks in accordance with Gambling Commission regulations on money laundering, we kindly request your cooperation and understaning in providing us with documents and any other information. Please note that on occasion we may need to close or temporarily suspend your account if we are unably to carry out the necessary verification regarding your identity. Our Customer Service Team will be available throughout this process to provide support and answer your questions.
